des 11-12 septembre en Allemagne, sur le "fjord" &lt;span id="SPELLING_ERROR_1" class="blsp-spelling-error"&gt;Schlei&lt;/span&gt; (pour moi ça ressemble &lt;span id="SPELLING_ERROR_2" class="blsp-spelling-error"&gt;plutot&lt;/span&gt; à une rivière boueuse, mais bon qu'est-ce que j'y connais en fjords...)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Le samedi, petite sortie découverte dans du petit temps, vent moyen inférieur a 10noeuds, rafales à 10-12 noeuds, pas de &lt;span id="SPELLING_ERROR_3" class="blsp-spelling-error"&gt;GPS&lt;/span&gt; ce jour là mais &lt;span id="SPELLING_ERROR_4" class="blsp-spelling-error"&gt;Rod&lt;/span&gt; peut maintenant mesurer la vitesse "a l'oreille" en fonction du bruit que fait la quille (note pour plus tard: biseauter le bord de fuite de ma quille). verdict: 11-12 noeuds.&lt;br /&gt;le &lt;span id="SPELLING_ERROR_5" class="blsp-spelling-error"&gt;planing&lt;/span&gt; est aisé et se déclenche sans effort et l'équipage peut rester dans une position centrale dans le cockpit. pas besoin de s'entasser sur l'arrière comme sur ce genre de vidéo &lt;a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QzuzRKb4Xow"&gt;http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QzuzRKb4Xow&lt;/a&gt; . bon, pas le &lt;span id="SPELLING_ERROR_6" class="blsp-spelling-error"&gt;meme&lt;/span&gt; vent non plus, mais j'ai mis pas mal de volume dans l'avant de la &lt;span id="SPELLING_ERROR_7" class="blsp-spelling-error"&gt;carene&lt;/span&gt; pour justement éviter cette tendance a planter le nez et je suis content que ça marche.&lt;br /&gt;au prés c'est pareil, le bateau ne &lt;span id="SPELLING_ERROR_8" class="blsp-spelling-error"&gt;gite&lt;/span&gt; pas "en coin"&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Le dimanche, petite régate "saucisson" toujours sur le "fjord" avec &lt;span id="SPELLING_ERROR_9" class="blsp-spelling-error"&gt;Manfred&lt;/span&gt; de &lt;a href="http://sailracing.blogspot.com/"&gt;&lt;span id="SPELLING_ERROR_10" class="blsp-spelling-error"&gt;Sailracing&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/a&gt;. Vent très faible, &lt;span id="SPELLING_ERROR_11" class="blsp-spelling-error"&gt;inféreur&lt;/span&gt; à 5 noeuds. De la planche a voile au dériveur, du formule 18 au 3/4 tonner, tout le monde sur la &lt;span id="SPELLING_ERROR_12" class="blsp-spelling-error"&gt;meme&lt;/span&gt; ligne !&lt;br /&gt;le parcours est un petit &lt;span id="SPELLING_ERROR_13" class="blsp-spelling-error"&gt;cotier&lt;/span&gt; avec une première bouée de dégagement. on se retrouve rapidement en &lt;span id="SPELLING_ERROR_14" class="blsp-spelling-error"&gt;tete&lt;/span&gt; des &lt;span id="SPELLING_ERROR_15" class="blsp-spelling-error"&gt;quillards&lt;/span&gt; avec juste les 2 formule 18 devant. quelques bords plus tard, on se fait doubler sur le dernier portant par le 3/4 tonner qui a trouvé une meilleure rafale que nous, et il arrivera a garder l'écart sur le dernier bord de près. On arrivera quand &lt;span id="SPELLING_ERROR_16" class="blsp-spelling-error"&gt;meme&lt;/span&gt; a rattraper un des deux &lt;span id="SPELLING_ERROR_17" class="blsp-spelling-error"&gt;catas&lt;/span&gt;, parti dans un trou sans vent sur le dernier bord.&lt;br /&gt;au moment de rentrer au port, le vent tourne a l'ouest et forci jusqu'à 10-12 noeuds, ce qui veut dire tirer des bords de près serré pendant une bonne heure. on est tous d'accord pour dire que le bateau marche étonnement bien au près, ce qui n'est pas du tout son programme. OK on est sur de l'eau plate, mais quand meme une pointe à 7.0 noeuds c'est pas mal pour un bateau de 5.5m non ?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;En tout cas me voila bien content de savoir que je peux dessiner un bateau:&lt;br /&gt;-qui flotte a l'endroit&lt;br /&gt;-qui avance dans le bon sens&lt;br /&gt;-qui va vite&lt;br /&gt;-qui plane facilement&lt;br /&gt;il ne me reste plus qu'à finir le mien...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;une petite video ?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wLG1SXlwX2I"&gt;http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wLG1SXlwX2I&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#999999;"&gt;So I could finally go sailing on my creation on the second weekend of september, in Germany on the Schlei "fjord" (too me it looks more like a muddy river but oh well, what do i know about fjords...)&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#999999;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#999999;"&gt;Saturday was a little discovery sail in light winds. average below 10 kts, gusting 10-12. No GPS on board that day but Rod can now judge the boat speed "by the ear" listening to the sound the keel makes. (note for self: bevel the keel trailing edge on mine). his verdict: 10-12 kts.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#999999;"&gt;Getting the boat to plane is easy and the crew can remain in a central position in the cockpit. no need to stack all souls in the back of the bus as in this video &lt;a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QzuzRKb4Xow"&gt;http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QzuzRKb4Xow&lt;/a&gt;. Well, there wasn't as much wind, but still, i put a lot of volume forward in the hull to avoid this nose down submarining and i am glad it works.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#999999;"&gt;upwind it is the same, the boat doesn't point the nose down when it is heeling.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#999999;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#999999;"&gt;Sunday was beercan race day with Manfred from &lt;a href="http://sailracing.blogspot.com/"&gt;Sailracing&lt;/a&gt;. in very light winds, below 5 kts. from a wind surfer to all kinds of dinghies, from formula 18 cats to a 3/4 tonner, all on the same starting line. the race is a little coastal with a smaal beat to start with. we are rapidly in front of the keelboats with just the two F18 cats in front, but a few legs later the 3/4 tonner passes us in the last downwind leg et manages to stay in front on the last upwind. we will just manage to pass one of the F-18 cats stuck in a wind hole.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#999999;"&gt;when it was time to sail back to the harbour, the wind turned west and increased to 10-12 kts which meant a good hour of short tacking upwind up the fjord. we were all agreeing that the boat sails very well upwind which was not in the design brief at all. Le bateau est base a Schleswig dans le nord de l'Allemagne et je m'y rends ce weekend pour participer a une petite regate locale sur la riviere Schlei. si vous etes dans le coin et interesse par ce genre de bateau, passez nous voir !&lt;br /&gt;pour l'instant les premieres regates sont concluantes, dans une flotte heterogene typique du coin (H boat, X-79, X-34 etc.) Black sheep termine la plupart du temps deuxieme derriere le X-34 en temps reel bien sur, car c'est tout ce qui nous interesse, pas vrai ?&lt;br /&gt;pour etre honnete je pensais que le bateau ne serait pas bon au pres, mais contre toute attente, ca marche pas mal "5.5kts et le meme cap que le H-boat" d'apres Rod, et au portant, le bateau plane sur eau plate avec moins de 15 noeuds de vent.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#999999;"&gt;Here are a few pictures of Rod's boat sailing. The bat is based in Schleswig, northern Germany et I am going there this weekend to sail in a local race on the river Schlei. Je monte au chantier le weekend prochain avec une remorque, je reste environ une semaine sur place pour les derniers petits collages et strates et je redescend avec le bateau ponté et structuré le weekend suivant, direction Rennes pour la deuxième phase des travaux: les finitions.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Pour la remorque, j'ai trouvé une solution pas mal: un ancien chassis de caravane trouvé sur leboncoin.fr. il pèse environ 160kg, le bateau tout fini et équipé devrait peser dans les 250-300kg, ça fait donc une remorque qui pèse au total 460kg maximum. on est sous les 500kg, donc pas de carte grise et pas de permis E.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a type='text'>semaine 28 / week 28</title><content type='html'>bon ben pas grand chose de neuf depuis la dernière photo, toujours plein de petites choses à préparer avant de coller le pont:&lt;br /&gt;-inserts et contreplaques pour chaque pièce d'accastillage qui sera boulonnée, car la fine épaisseur de carbone + la mousse faible densité ne sont pas assez solides pour percer/tarauder.&lt;br /&gt;-préparation des surfaces de collage et reprises de strate. normalement, quand on joint deux panneaux de stratifié perpendicualirement, on fait un joint congé à la colle epoxy + une petite strate par dessus. c'est facile à faire quand on a un accès des deux cotés, mais quand on colle le pont sur un bateau non habitable, l'accès est impossible, donc il faut tout préparer avant en stratifiant à l'avance des "L" de carbone et en les collant en place.&lt;br /&gt;-il y avait quelques bulles d'air entre la peau intérieure et la mousse, donc il fallait arracher la peau intérieure localement et faire un petite pansement, c'est chose faite&lt;br /&gt;-système de quille pendulaire et de dérive avant.&lt;br /&gt;normalement, les prochaines photos montreront un bateau complètement ponté, viendra alors le moment tant attendu des finitions !&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#999999;"&gt;well, nothing really new since the last picture, we still have a lot of things to prepare before finally bonding the deck in place:&lt;br /&gt;-inserts and backing plates for every fitting that is bolted to the hull or deck because the thin layers of carbon and low density foam are not strong enough to drill/tap anything&lt;br /&gt;-preparation of the bonding and wet layup areas. normally when you join together two panels perpendicularly, you make a fillet with epoxy glue + a wet layup tape above that, and this is easy when you have access on bith sides, but in our case, we have no access to the inside of the boat when the deck is bonded in, so we need to prepare some carbon "L pieces" beforehand and bond them in place.&lt;br /&gt;-there were a few soft spots where we had to rip off the inside skin and locally laminate again.&lt;br /&gt;-canting keel and dagger board passavants. C'est un peu stressant parce que si on a oublié quelque chose à l'intérieur, c'est mort...&lt;br /&gt;on voit aussi la poutre en carbone qui traverse l'arrière du cockpit. Elle sert a rigidifier l'ensemble, recevoir le rail d'écoute de grand voile, les tetes de safran et les poulies d'écoute de spi.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#999999;"&gt;a busy week: we started "closing the box": laminating and bonding of the cockpit floor, cockpit sides and side decks. stand du Speedfeet 18, vraiment sympa, il a pris le temps de discuter avec moi meme si je ne suis pas un client potentiel, et il a du matériel d'occasion a vendre.&lt;br /&gt;-pas grand chose d'interessant sur le stand de l'open 570, il est apparemment très dur de trouver des voiles d'occasion, et un jeu de voile (GV+foc+spi) neuf coute 3180€ !&lt;br /&gt;-j'ai eu un très bon devis de la est plus ou moins finalisée. j'ai passé pas mal de temps a étudier les photos des nouveaux plans &lt;a href="http://www.guillaumeverdier.com/"&gt;Verdier&lt;/a&gt; (Safran, Groupe Bel et Telecom Italia) et j'ai essayé de m'en inspirer.&lt;br /&gt;Maintenant, la prochaine étape consiste a construire un mannequin en bois, et comme je ne me sens pas trop de tout découper a la scie sauteuse, je cherche une société qui pourrait me faire la découpe des couples. Alors si vous etes ou si vous connaissez une telle société en Bretagne, laissez un petit commentaire ou envoyez moi un mail.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Je crois me souvenir d'une societe "Polytech" pas term='bateau'/><title type='text'>Bienvenue !</title><content type='html'>Bonjour et bienvenue sur ce blog ou je tenterai de raconter la gestation puis la naissance de mon futur bateau: un sportsboat de 5,50m.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Le programme du bateau est similaire a celui des &lt;a href="http://www.open570.org/open/home.htm"&gt;Open 570&lt;/a&gt; ou &lt;a href="http://www.speedfeet18.org/"&gt;Speedfeet 18&lt;/a&gt;, c'est a dire un bateau performant et agréable, prévu pour aucune jauge, donc sans compromis, et sans aucun confort a l'intérieur, un pur day boat !&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;L'objectif est de naviguer a trois (plus de 3 sur un bateau et il y en a forcément un qui s'ennuie...) donc la surface de voilure et le poids du bulbe (quille dans l'axe) seront prévus en fonction.&lt;br /&gt;L'objectif est aussi de naviguer seul, et la quille sera donc pendulaire pour compenser en partie le manque a gagner en stabilité.&lt;br /&gt;Il sera bien sur possible de naviguer a trois + quille pendulée pour tenir la toile encore plus longtemps.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Pour l'instant la construction est prévue en sandwich mousse-carbone si les
